Requirements for preparation of articles

1. Articles should contain new theoretical results, practical experience, ideas, concepts, suggestions, scientific, technical and economic development, review and analysis of materials on current issues concerning the information and economic aspects of standardization and technical regulation.

2. The beginning of the paper is started with, a summary (not more than 5 lines), which gives an idea on the following aspects:

  • the relevance of the material presented in the matter of solving problems , involving information and economic aspects of standardization and technical regulation (if not reflected in the topic);
  • what are the main authentic results and their originality.

  • 3. One issue of the journal published cannot contain more than 2 articles per author (including co-authored).

    4. The volume of the article - no more than 10 pages.

    5. The article is prepared using a computer in a text editor MS Word (only .doc extension files are accepted) and sent to the editorial board by email (ieajournal@yandex.ru) or is handed in on electronic media.
    If an article contains the main results of the thesis for the doctorate or candidate degree, the topic of the article is followed by the name and (or) the code of a scientific specialty in accordance with the calssification approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of 25.02.2009№ 59.

    6. The heading is preceeded with the number of an article using the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC).

    7. The article is prepared in Russian or English.

    8. The formating and structuring of the article is implemented in the following order:

  • title (topic) of article (capital letters, bold, without hyphenation, centered, without indentation, font - Times New Roman 14 size - not more than 3 lines);
  • information about authors - name (s) and initials of the author (s) (bold), degree (if any); academic rank (if available), their current status (student, graduate student, doctoral student, researcher, applicant, etc. .), occupation (study); email address (not bold, without hyphenation, alignment - center, without indentation, font - Times New Roman 14);
  • abstract (font - Times New Roman 14, italic, spacing - unitary, alignment - justified, indentation, automatic hyphenation);
  • keywords (font - Times New Roman 14, italic, spacing - unitary, alignment - justified, indentation, automatic hyphenation);
  • the body the article;
  • сReferences.

  • A one-line ommision is made between the title (topic) of the article, information about the author (s), abstract, keywords, body of the article and references.

    9. If the article was prepared in Russian, the following information is also written in English authors' names, title (topic) of the paper, abstract, keywords.

    10. The text of the article should be typed using a computer in any version of Microsoft Word text editor in accordance with the following requirements:

  • font Times New Roman, the main text – 14, figure captions, tables – 12;
  • text should have one and a half line spacing, paragraph alignment - justified;
  • automatic hyphenation;
  • red line (indent) - 1.25 cm;
  • margins: left - 3 cm, top, bottom - 2 cm, right - 1.5 cm;
  • drawings, designs, schemes should be grouped and must not "crawl" on the text, minimum font size - 10;
  • size of the figure (with captions) should not exceed 16 cm horizontally, vertically - 23.5 cm;
  • tables and figures are placed after they are mentrioned in the text, without breaking sentences;
  • all lettering in the figures are explained in the body of the article or the caption;
  • article should not contain scanned formulas, drawings, diagrams;
  • tables and graphs should not duplicate each other;
  • letters of the latin alphabet in the formulas and their repetition in the text are written in italics;
  • the values and simple formulas in the text and tables are typed as text elements (rather than as elements of a formula editor);
  • the separation of the fractional part of the number point must not used (instead of a comma) (13,6 - correct, 13.6 - wrong);
  • signs "+", "-", "=" in the formulas are written with spaces;
  • unit abbreviation is written in italics (m, kg, million, billion, thousand, etc.);
  • units of measurement are transferred to the next line with the figures;
  • special characters (multiplication sign, degree, arrows, etc.) can not be replaced with alike in shape letters, they should be chosen from a special font character sets (Symbol, Wingdlngs etc.);
  • the space between the number and the unit is broken with a space (17 m, 13%);
  • writing of a dash and a hyphen is different: dash - with spaces, hyphen - no spaces;
  • double quotes in the prepared article should be uniform;
  • explanation of formula symbols starting with "where ...", are written without an ident, as a continuation of the text;
  • all abbreviations and symbolsmust have definable explanations (it is not allowed to use references, which describe the formula, as an explanation);
  • each punctuation mark (,,:.!?)has no space after the previous word (number), but with a space before the next word (number);
  • usage of numbered and bulleted lists (1 ....2. ...; Well) ... b) ... etc.) between the number / letter with the punctuation mark or dash / word mark is reccomended to perform using a fixed space for uniform text alignment, automatic clearance through option (Format - List) is not recommended;
  • cнfootnotes are typed in Times New Roman - 12, single line spacing.The footnote text and the separation line indention is not set;
  • references (numbers) are written in square brackets, for example - [5, 14, 17-20];
  • page number (folio) are placed in the middle top of the page, font Times New Roman 12.

  • 11. References should be listed alphabetically by author's name (ie, first goes the name, then initials).First, all the Russian-language literature is mentioned, then foreign one, the internet sites - after that. The text of the article should contain links to all sources of the list of references.

    12. At the end of the paper contains the authors' contact numbers.
